Whether June proves to be ‘flaming’, freezing (hope not) or just fair, the light evenings can be great for going out and enjoying poetry.

There are lots of local events featured in PNSeL eNEWS this month. Regular groups and additional events – including local festivals. There’s also an opportunity to attend a workshop where poets can practise reading their work with a later opportunity to perform it. Or you can enjoy hearing others.

Apart from the eNEWS, other good places to find local poetry activities are libraries, community centres, bookshops and cafés – especially the independents.
