POETRY NEWS SOUTHEAST LONDON – June 2016

The latest issue (104) of Poetry News Southeast London (PNSeL for short) is out now.

Poetry organizers can publicise events free and easily – just provide details 2 days before start of month when event takes place. (No issue in August). We’re a small publication but you may get one or two new supporters over the course of a year or two. It’s free and you can do it easily by one email  – or just add pnsel.enews@yahoo.co.uk to your regular mailout. Events should be South London based or connected in some way, subject to editor’s discretion. Here’s brief extract and one late additional event:

Tuesday 14 June in SE15 (tonight)

‘Lunar Poetry’ Issue 9 launch reading at Peckham Pelican. 7.30pm, free entry, readers from the magazine + open mic slots. 92 Peckham Road SE15 5PY

‘Stanza Bonanza’: Clapham v. Reading

Poets from Clapham in South London challenge the Reading team at Stanza Bonanza at the Poetry Café. Support your favourites, enjoy the poetry and maybe find out what a Poetry Stanza does, and how to join one.  Free entry – everyone welcome.  See website below for more details.
