Made in Greenwich gallery hosts ‘Cinnamon Press Book Launch’

Independent publisher introduces two new publications:
– ‘Turn/Return’ – sequence of 25 short poems by Jan Fortune,
– plus ‘Baby’ by Patricia Debney – sequence of prose poems on how love survives

Time: Arrive 7 p.m. to see the gallery’s artworks, crafts and cards. Reading starts 7.30 p.m.

One Day Masterclass – Performing Your Poetry – With Inua Ellams:

May be a place or two left on this one day masterclass with award-winning poet Inua Ellams. Contact livecanon@btinternet.com if interested.

Course is for poets at all stages of their careers, and of all ages. Focus is on how to perform all types of work. Day will explore many aspects of performance, and suggest practical techniques for preparing to perform/read. With plenty of time to explore, practice, and get feedback from Inua and fellow course members.

Starts: 10-30 a.m. (to 5.30 p.m. with lunch break)
Cost: £70 (£35 student concessions); includes the lunch.
