World Poets – Edward Thomas

Latest in ‘World Poets’ series of lecture-performances-with-readings by poet/poetry lecturer Graham Fawcett. Other poets – Wilfred Owen, Siegfried Sassoon, Ivor Gurney, Isaac Rosenberg, and Rupert Brooke – will also feature as part of Thomas’s story, as will his friendship with US poet Robert Frost. Graham will talk about the life connected with the work, particularly Thomas’s discovery of himself as a poet – and encourage audience involvement, as ever.

Starts: 7pm
Cost: £12.50
Venue: Upstairs Bar, The Prince of Greenwich,  72 Royal Hill, London, SE10 8RT (with food available for purchase downstairs).
