Commemorating Edward Thomas centenary, this lecture-performance-with-readings by poet Graham Fawcett, will present Thomas’s life, work and relationships, and encourage the audience to share their responses and insights.

“NOT THE ELECTION” POETRY NIGHT

Whether you think oh no not another one! or bring it on! or something in-between, you might enjoy the run-up to election day with this In-Words and Southeast London Poetry Network open evening. Bring along political poems from our time or down the ages. An opportunity to share favourites by other poets, or bring you own. You’re also invited to read the work or arrange for someone to read it (and let organisers know if you are willing to read work brought by others).The aim is a “glorified poetical/political hustings”.
