Poetry School courses and events – September 2017 onwards
Details of Poetry School courses in London and various regions (such as Manchester) for this autumn and beyond are on their website: https://poetryschool.com. They have online courses if you are not able to get to a ‘face to face’ class.
There are also details of the Aldeburgh Poetry Festival weekend – to be held in Suffolk this November – which they are curating this year.

In-words presents: Cinnamon Toast! A celebration of National Poetry Day
In the company of 5 poets (Tamsin Hopkins, Alex Josephy, Jane McLaughlin, Louise Warren and Jeremy Worman) published by Cinnamon Press. A chance to hear samples of poetry from this independent publisher and get to know about their work. And share some refreshment.

‘Blackfriars Vocal’
Open-mic poetry evening. New and established writers, poets and spoken word enthusiasts are invited to read their favourite poetry. Sign up on the door for 5 minutes at the mic(rophone).
Refreshments available – donations in aid of Older People’s Services Blackfriars Settlement. Pop-up tables available to sell your publications. Everyone welcome to read or spectate

Future of PNSeL
My editorship of PNSeL eNEWS has run for 11 years and will end this year. It’s possible the publication or something similar will continue under a new editor. If not, I will give details of other ways to keep in touch with/or promote poetry events in south and southeast London towards the end of the year.
